I think a practice arena in a guildhall sounds like a good idea to test strategies and practice. It would also actually give use to the guild hall.

While this idea is basic in idea. It would still require the programming and testing of a guild alliance system. I should know since I program and know nothing is very as basic as it seems.
Therefore its not a basic as you may think it to be.
The devs would be better off working on a more pernament long term solution.

I would like to see changes to the Guild Halls as well.
I have no doubt it will happen, since it is an obvious place for expansion, and seeing as it is one of the main replay value areas.
But I too am a developer, and they can't just "whip it up".
But, yes, lets hope for some new content in the guild hall

The problem is (since Im a developer as well), and it should be obvious... $$$. Where is the profit in creating a venture. As we all know that expansions to a projects is done to a system must be either done for:
1. Help generate sales to the product. New features that might promote new users.
2. Create the possiblilty for expansion of the product.
3. Fixing bugs within the current project.
I dont see a effort of this sort feasible to generate sales as the new users are not part of a guild in the beginning and information about guilds is limited as its a feature that takes more effect after you ascend to promote the Guild war aspect.

Which is all the more reason why they need to introduce buying more character slots

The Guild Challege needs some tweaking in the existing system at the moment... Right now the only part of GvG that seems to work is the random guild battle, but we have yet to easily be able to issue a challenge to a rival guild directly. which we all would like to be able to do... Our guild is affiliated with 2 other guilds, and our members often play together, but it would be nice to be able to fight each other more easily. By Guild name or something like that, instead of guild leader name. and you both have to do it at the same time to get it to work... AND the leaders MUST be involved or it will not link up with the guild you want it too... its really kinda of wierd. I know the challenge system is there but its just not easy to use...
We we thinking also of using one of the Early Arena maps for a Guild Arena, like the one at yaks bend or ascalon maybe since otherwise lev 20s whould not get to ssee those? So we can do practice matches from our guild hall with our guild mates.
Knowing these suggestions where going to be Gold sinks for the guild we asked forthem back in beta and again for chapter 2 upgrade... here So we do understand the need for compensation for such things and the time involved, I'm sure we just want to express that these would be things we would find of value to us for the next chapter, as well as a continued storyline, even if it is just the same maps with a different twist to the stories...
